Tylosin Tratrate + Sulfadimidine + Trimethoprim Injection

COMPOSITION: Each ml contains:
Tylosin (as Tratrate)…………………………….100 mg
Sulfadimidine base…………………………….. 125 mg
Trimethoprim………………………………………..25 mg
Excipients (ad.)……………………………………….. 1 ml

DESCRIPTION:
The combination of Tylosin with Sulphadimidine and its enhancer Trimethoprim, complete its action and produces a distinctive effectiveness.
Tylosin is an antibiotic substance with Macrolide structure. It is high active against gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma. Trimethoprim and sulphadimidine potentiate each other with bactericidal activity against many gram positive and gram negative bacteria.

INDICATIONS:
For treatment of pneumoenteritis, foot infection and metritis in cattle and calves. Also for treatment of coli-bacillosis and pneumonia in sheep and goats, and bacterial scour in calves.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE: By intramuscular injection:
General dose: 1 ml/ 10 kg B.W. for 2-3 days.
Cattle: 30-40 ml.
Calves: 5-10 ml.
Sheep: 5 – 10 ml.
Lambs: 1-5 ml.
