Flunixin Meglumine Injection 50 mg/ml

COMPOSITION: Each ml contains:
Flunixin (as flunixin meglumine)…………………. 50 mg
Excipients (ad.) …………………………………………………1 ml

INDICATIONS:
Cattle: It is indicated as an adjunct to antimicrobial therapy to reduce clinical signs of acute inflammation in cases of infectious respiratory disease.
Horses: It is indicated for the alleviation of inflammatory signs associated with musculoskeletal disorders
and for the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE: For intramuscular or intravenous administration:
Cattle: 2 ml per 45 kg body weight. Repeat if necessary at 24 h intervals for up to 3 consecutive
days.
Horses: 1 ml per 45 kg body weight. Treatment may be repeated once or twice if colic recurs.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
For meat: Cattle: 14 days. Horses: 28 days.
For milk: Cattle: 2 days.
