Iron Dextran + VB12 Injection 20% +0.02%

COMPOSITION: Each ml contains:
Iron (as iron dextran)………………….… 200 mg
Vitamin B12, cyanocobalamin………200 mcg
Excipients (ad.)…………………………….…….. 1 ml

DESCRIPTION:
Iron dextran is used for prophylaxis and treatment of by iron deficiency caused anaemia in animals.

Parenteral administration of iron has the advantage that the necessary amount of iron can be administered
in one single dosage. Cyanocobalamin is used for prophylaxis and treat cyanocobalamin deficiency caused anaemia.

INDICATIONS:
Prophylaxis and treatment of anaemia in camels,
calves, sheep and goats.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Dosage and method of use of Parkers Endofer needles for calves, sheep, goats and camels:
Parkers Endofer is used by intramuscular injection.
Dosage in one-year-old camels: 5 ml per animal.
Dosage for adult camels: 10 ml per animal.
Dosage in calves: 5 ml per animal.
Dosage in sheep and goats: 2 ml per animal.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: None.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Administration to animals with vitamin E deficiency. Administration to animals with diarrhoea.
Administration in combination with tetracyclines, because of the interaction of iron with
tetracyclines.
