Product Information
Pesticide Properties:
Acetamax Ant Gel is an insecticide gel for ant control, containing appetite-stimulating substances (not repellent to ants but rather attracting ant groups that cannot resist its palatable taste). It belongs to the chemical group Neonicotinoid, containing the active ingredient Acetamiprid, which acts as a stomach poison that inhibits acetylcholinesterase enzyme, disrupting neural signal transmission, causing paralysis in insects and eventually leading to their death.
Method and Rate of Use:
Acetamax Ant Gel is used for controlling ants in their nesting and breeding areas, away from children’s reach, food, beverages, household utensils and animal shelters. It is applied as drops, where each drop weighs 0.1 in case of mild infestation, and 3-5 drops weighing 1 gram in case of severe infestation. The pesticide is also applied as a thin layer when ants form trails or in places with high ant activity, using a thin layer measuring 3 mm in width, 5 cm in case of mild infestation, and as a thin layer measuring 6 mm in width, 7 mm in length in case of severe infestation.
The bait should be distributed accurately in all cracks, openings, gaps, and areas where ants are expected to pass through or live. Areas treated should be checked periodically to monitor consumption and bait attractiveness, reapplying treatment as needed. In case of a continuous source of infestation, permanent bait stations should be established, and treatment should be renewed.
