Tylosin Tartrate + Oxytetracycline Injection 10% +10%

COMPOSITION: Each ml contains:
Tylosin tartrate………………………………….. 100 mg
Oxytetracycline…………………………………. 100 mg
Excipients (ad)………………………………………….1 ml

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Tylosin acts bacteriostatically. It inhibits protein synthesis of susceptible microorganisms by binding to sub-units of the 50-S ribosome and by inhibition of the trans-location step.

Tylosin has a wide spectrum of activity against gram-positive bacteria including Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Coryne bacterium, and erysipelothrix.

It has a much narrower gram-negative spectrum of activity, but has been shown to be active against campylobacter coli, and certain spirochaetes. It has also been shown to be extremely active against Mycoplasma species isolated from both mammalian and avian hosts.

Oxytetracycline is broad-spectrum antibacterial medicine, sensitive to rickettsia mycoplasma, chlamydia, Spirochaeta. Other such as actinomycetes, bacillus anthracis, monocytosis listeria, clostridium, lave card bacteria genera, vibrio, gibraltar. Campylobacter, also has good effect on them.

PROPERTIES & INDICATIONS:
It has a broad antibacterial efficacy that includes Gram negative and positive bacteria, protozoas, siprochets, mycoplasmas and chlamydia.

It is considered a first line treatment against metritis, mastitis, gastro-enteritis, infectious
pneumonia and shipping fever, secondary bacterial infections and anaplasmosis and other infectious diseases.
