PIPROMAX 4 EC: A non-single-use emulsifier synergistic compound that is mixed with other pesticides to enhance its effectiveness against pesticide-resistant insects, that has a broad spectrum of activity against many types of insects.
Piperonyl butoxide is not an insecticide in itself. Piperonyl butoxide is blocks the enzyme in a target pest that would detoxify the insecticide. This allows a higher amount of the insecticide to remain in the target insect, increasing its effectiveness.

PIPROMAX 4 EC is safe to be used in indoor and outdoor premises and does not persist in the environment.  has no adverse effects on aquatic, soil and sediment dwelling organisms.

PIPROMAX 4 EC may be mixed with insecticides registered for use in the following areas: Residential dwellings or indoors in commercial or institutional buildings including houses (indoor or outdoor), multiple unit housing, hotels, schools, restaurants, food processing facilities, food storage facilities, bakeries, healthcare facilities, warehouses, office buildings, factories, industrial facilities. Do not use in aircraft cabins.

RATE OF USE:
Piperonyl butoxide is outstandingly effective in synergising the biological effect of pyrethroid insecticides, where it enhances the knock-down effect and killing.
– For most purposes, piperonyl butoxide should be used at the rate of 5 parts PBO to 1 part pyrtethroid or pyrethrins, by weight of the pyrethroid/pyrethrin content of the formulation.
– In some cases, this ratio may be varied to meet specific requirements. For some purposes, ratios as high as 6:1 or even 8:1 may prove to give optimum results.
